Immunoglobulins : most important component of colostrums. These are special proteins produced by the body in response to the host being exposed to foreign substances (antigens) such as infectious microbes. The immunoglobulins are directed specifically to the antigen that induced their formation. Bovine colostrums contains all five classes of immunoglobulins found in human colostrums which are IgG, IgA, IgM, IgE and IgD. The most abundant immunoglobulins is IgG. Human colostrums contains about 2% IgG while bovine colostrums has up to 40 times that amount.

Lactoferrin : A powerful antiviral, antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory protein which deprives pathogens of the iron they need to proliferate.

Proline : Rich Polypeptide - Regulates the activity of the immune system, modulating overactive immune responses and enhancing a hypoactive immune system.

Oligasaccharides : Sugars (saccharine) that attach and bind to invading bacteria, peventing them from attaching to or passing through the intestinal wall therefore preventing intestinal infection.

Cytokine : Interlukin 1&6, Interferon an lymphokinesis - stimulates the production of immunoglobulins and regulate the intensity of the immune function.

Lactalbumins : Help increase brain serotonin levels and improve mood under stress.

Lisozim : has been shown to kill bacteria and viruses on contact.
